The boats in our fleet are all privately owned by the captains and their families. Our long-lasting experience shows that this is a very important point, because during the summer months, they take care of their floating home just as they do with their private house. The captain’s family will personally take care not only of the safety and well-being of the guests on board. Throughout the whole winter, the ships are maintained with great care and attention, and prepared for the upcoming summer season. Of course, each family member gives a hand to complete this job. Everything is meticulously scrubbed, painted and polished. Furthermore, the Croatian Register of Shipping, where all our vessels are registered, every year performs accurate inspections according to EU provisions. If a ship does not meet the high security standards of the ship inspection, the approval for passenger transport is not granted.

The captains and owners personally select their crew members – sometimes with our help, but always under our supervision. This is especially true for the most important crew member, the chef. It almost seems some kind of magic, when tasting the dishes he prepares in the ship’s galley. Our guests will certainly confirm this.

The great experience of our captains also determines our program and choice of routes, reflecting the fact that together with our captains we always strive to optimize the routes for you and adapt them to your wishes.

Moreover, the genuine hospitality aboard our boats is another typical feature of family- owned businesses; therefore, we use to call them “floating family guest houses”. The name says it all – the answers and comments in the guest questionnaires, which we distribute at the end of the cruise to all our guests, confirm this over and over again. For us, the best evi- dence is the number of guests who return year after year to spend their holidays on the same boat.
